On the 14th June a catastrophic fire ripped through Grenfell Tower, a 24-storey tower block in West London, claiming the lives of 79 and injuring many others.

Now, just a week later, singers from every genre of music have come together to feature on a charity single, with the likes of Anne-Marie, Dua Lipa, Emeli Sande, Jessie J, John Newman, this year's Britain's Got Talent winner Tokio Myers, and British singer Rita Ora who grew up very close to Grenfell Tower.

The single is a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's 1970 hit 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' and you'll be able to hear it on air today.

We caught up with Simon Cowell and asked him about the charity single he said "it’s amazing how quickly they were able to get the song produced".

As well as downloading the single, public can donate through the Artists for Grenfell website.

The music video for 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' will be premiered on TV later today just before Coronation Street on ITV.
