She left the soap in 2011

Actress Adele Silva has delighted Emmerdale fans by suggesting that she could one day return to the popular soap.

Adele, who played the role of Kelly Windsor until 2011, has since relocated to Hollywood, but it sounds like the 37-year-old is keen to return to The Dales one day.

Adele's character Kelly left the village with her son Elliot back in 2011, but after Elliot chose to live with his dad Jimmy, Kelly is yet to return to visit him.

In a recent interview with the Daily Star, Adele said "I was 14 when I first joined and was quiet for those first couple of years as I was still at school.

"When I got to 16 I had an affair with a school teacher and that was it, Kelly was unleashed. After that she pretty much went through most of the men in the village.

"There were vicars, my step-brother and of course Jimmy.

Speaking about a potential return, Adele then added, "Kelly really is the best character to play. I used to get to say and do things that you wouldn't dream of saying or doing in real life.

"She's not been killed off and her son is still in the village being looked after by Jimmy, so we always say never say never."

We hope so! 🤞
