We are used to celebrities having to leave The Jump due to injuries sustained on the show, but now model Caprice Bourret has had to quit the show due to a 'mystery illness'.

On Sunday night's episode, host Davina McCall revealed to viewers that Caprice was 'too ill' to perform in the ski cross event, and the model didn't feature.

Now the 45-year-old's representative has told Radio Times.com, "Caprice has actually withdrawn from the competition entirely due to illness.”

Caprice is yet to comment on the situation herself, with no further information being revealed.

The mum-of-two injured herself on the show a few weeks ago when she fractured her ribs after hitting her skis into her chest during training for a ski jump.

Despite this, Caprice was able to continue in the competition up until now.

The model is the third celebrity of the series to quit the show due to injury/illness. Before the show had even kicked off Vogue Williams damaged ligaments in her knee and is currently awaiting surgery.

Olympic legend Sir Bradley Wiggins was then forced to leave the show after suffering a small leg fracture.

Speaking about his injury, Bradley tweeted his fans with the following update...

Spencer Matthews was also unable to perform on Sunday night after dislocating his shoulder during a sickening collision.

Despite the fall, the Made In Chelsea star reassured fans he wasn't leaving the show.

The Jump continues on Channel 4 on Sunday.
