With Easter over and The Voice UK and Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway coming to an end this weekend, it can mean only one thing... the return of Britain's Got Talent!
After months of speculation about when the show will return, bosses at ITV have confirmed the official start date for the popular talent show and it's very soon.
Taking to the official BGT Twitter account, it was revealed the show will return to ITV on Saturday 14th April in the prime slot of 8pm. The tweet read, 'We CANNOT wait for the new series to start! Not long now... 🤗 🎉 🌟#BGT'. sic
The show will kick off with the usual audition rounds, showing some of the best (and worst) talent Britain has to offer in the bumper one hour and 25 minute episode.
Last week, fans of the show were teased when ITV released the brand new trailer for the show, featuring judges Simon Cowell, Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams.

As the audition rounds of the show were filmed earlier this year, both Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly will appear on the show for the first few episodes.
Fans have called for Dec to host the show on his own after he took to the stage alone on Saturday Night Takeaway last weekend. Despite looking nervous at the beginning of the show, Dec showed his true professionalism and didn't put a foot wrong despite presenting without Ant for the first time in his career.
Following the show, Dec thanked his fans for their love and support on Twitter. He wrote, 'Thanks for all your lovely messages tonight, they are VERY much appreciated, I’m glad you enjoyed the show. I didn’t sleep an awful lot last night so I’m off to bed! Night y’all. D x' sic
The brand new series of Britain's Got Talent will be the 12th series of the popular show. 2017 saw pianist Tokio Myers win the show, after beating the likes of magician Issy Simpson and comedian Daliso Chaponda in the final.
Tokio, real name Torville Jones, won the show after impressing audiences with his rendition of Ed Sheeran's track 'Bloodstream', Rihanna's 'Diamonds' and Rag'nBone Man's 'Human'.
