Following the success of spin-off series Celebrity Race Across The World last year, BBC bosses confirmed back in November that they've renewed the show for a second series, and now they've teased it's 'coming soon'.

When is it on TV?

Following the series 4 final of Race Across the World on Wednesday 29th May, a quick tease appeared on the screen, with bosses saying: 'A whole new race is about to begin! 💪 #CelebrityRaceAcrossTheWorld coming soon to BBC One and #iPlayer'. (sic)

No official start date has been announced just yet.

After series one became the biggest factual BBC franchise of the year in 2023, Catherine Catton, the BBC's Head of Commissioning for Factual Entertainment and Events, said: "We would like to thank our cast for putting their heart and soul into it, and we are delighted with the reaction, particularly from young audiences on iPlayer. We are very much looking forward to working with Studio Lambert on the next series."

Whilst we await more details, here's everything you need to know about Celebrity Race Across the World.

Which celebs are taking part?

Although bosses are yet to confirm the celeb line-up for this year's series, rumours are rife Jeff Brazier, Kelly Brook and Scott Mills will take part in the series, along with one other unknown celeb.

Jeff is rumoured to be taking part with his son Freddie, whilst Kelly takes the journey with husband Jeremy Parisi, and Scott with his fiancé Sam Vaughan.

BBC bosses are yet to confirm these rumours.

As fans will know, series one of Celebrity Race Across the World saw McFly star Harry Judd, All Saints singer Mel Blatt, British racing driver Billy Monger, and Good Morning Britain's Alex Beresford take part.

How can I catch up?

The first series is available to watch in full now on BBC iPlayer.

Tim Harcourt, Creative Director, Studio Lambert said: "Audiences seem pleased that the difficult and disarming undertaking of the Race was not watered down for well-known personalities and their loved ones.

"We are thrilled to be making another series for the BBC."
