The final four celebrities have been revealed for this year's series of Strictly Come Dancing, and along with the 11 already confirmed, it's set to be a great series.

Along with Good Morning Britain presenter Charlotte Hawkins, four other celebrities were confirmed for the show today by Stricly Come Dancing bosses. These include former Holby City actress Chizzy Akudolu, Paralympic champion Jonnie Peacock, Debbie McGee, and The X Factor winner Alexandra Burke.

Alexandra Burke won the fifth series of The X Factor back in 2008.

Jonnie Peacock, MBE, is an English sprint runner who won gold at the 2012 and 2016 Summer Paralympics.

Debbie McGee is the widow of magician Paul Daniels, and starred as his glamorous assistant during his routines.

Chizzy Akudolu previously played the role of heart surgeon Mo Effanga in hospital drama Holby City.

The final four celebrities join a star-studded line-up which includes radio presenter Gemma Atkinson, former JLS star Aston Merrygold, This Morning presenter Ruth Langsford, Scottish comedian Susan Calman and many more!

Although no official start date for the new series has been confirmed, the show is rumoured to begin in September with presenters Tess Daley and Claudia Winkleman returning to host the show.

There will be a slight change to the judging line-up! After head judge Len Goodman decided to quit the show last year, new judge Shiley Ballas is set to shake up the judging panel.

Shirley, who has previously judged on Dancing With The Stars in America, will join existing judges Darcey Bussell, Craig Revel Horwood and Bruno Tonioli on the panel.

Speaking ahead of the new series, Shirley said, " I am so excited and over the moon to have been given this wonderful opportunity.

"I can't wait to get in to the ballroom and be part of the incredible and respected judging panel. Strictly is so loved by the British public, I have always been a massive fan. I just can't wait."

This year's contestants will be hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year's winner Ore Oduba. Despite former Hollyoaks star Danny Mac being the favourite to take the Glitterball trophy with the judges, Ore won over the public with his dance moves and won the show with his professional dance partner Joanne Clifton.

This year's contestants are set to meet their professional dance partners are the live Strictly Come Dancing launch next month.
