She's had her fair share of ups and down over the last couple of years, but things seem to be looking up for former Celebrity Big Brother star Stephanie Davis. The actress, who is now a mum to her son Caben-Albi, has announced she's returning to Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks.
Stephanie was famously axed from playing the role of Sinead O'Connor in 2015, with her agent revealing she'd turned up to filming "unfit for work" at the time.
But now, three years on and it looks like Stephanie is set to return to the famous Hollyoaks village as her feisty character Sinead. Sharing a photo of herself on set holding a script, Stephanie wrote, 'So I can finally share with you all that I am going back to @hollyoaksofficial .. I’m so so excited to be going back and overwhelmed with all your support❤️ THANK YOU everyone for sticking with me - it never goes unnoticed ❤️ #sineadisback'. sic
The official Hollyoaks Instagram account also shared the same photo. They captioned it with, 'GUESS WHO’S BACK?!?! 😍😍😍😍#SineadIsHome #BigNews #Exclusive #Hollyoaks #Buzzing @stephaniedavis88'. sic
And it seems fans of the popular soap are very excited to see Stephanie back on their TV screens.
One fan wrote, 'Omg so excited for this 😍😍', with another adding, 'I might actually start watching it again then! Haven’t watched since Brendan went 😂'. sic
Hollyoaks bosses are yet to confirm whether Stephanie will be back for good, or whether she is just making a short appearance. No details about her comeback have been revealed yet, but if Sinead O'Connor's storylines in the past are anything to go by, she will bring a lot of drama to the village.

Meanwhile, it's been a dramatic few years for the 25-year-old actress since her contract was terminated in 2015.
Stephanie entered the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016 and publicly cheated on her boyfriend Sam Reece with fellow contestant Jeremy McConnell. After the couple went public with their romance inside of the house, they then endured a turbulent on/off/on/off/on and back off again relationship for a number of months.
Stephanie then welcomed the couple's son, Caben-Albi, into the world in January 2017, with the proud mum sharing adorable photos of him to her social media accounts.
It hasn't yet been confirmed when Stephanie will return to Hollyoaks, but fans will be hoping it isn't too long before she's back as her character Sinead.
