As your phone gets older you'll notice the battery doesn't last as long. These days our phones are also getting used for all sorts apps so it's no surprise that we struggle for battery power sometimes. Here are some great ways to reduce the demand on your phone's battery. Turn off Bluetooth/wifi when not in use, also turn off vibrate and keytones, dim your brightness and don't use the flash when taking photos.

Location services and GPS tracking are also huge battery drainers, so if you rely on your phone to get you through your day try switching them off.

3. Connectivity complications

If you have connectivity problems then you might find that your router has a limit to the number of devices which can connect to it. In most cases, the best thing to do is to restart the router by simply pulling out the power cable. With for 15 seconds and then put the cable back in. This will cause the system to reboot. You could also try restarting your phone.

4. Rubbish reception

Opening a window CAN help you if your phone signal isn't great as phone signals are affected by buildings and objects. Also calling from upstairs might help improve the reception. Just waving your phone in the air won't help though! These days you can also call over wifi if your phone allows, however, if none of that seems to help then many networks will be able to provide you with a signal booster for your home.
