The top 10 car karaoke songs have been revealed and there's quite a selection, everything from the 1970s right up to the present day with ABBA, Ed Sheeran and Justin Timberlake all making an appearance in the top 10.

Commissioned by BP Ultimate, the survey of 2,000 motorists also found 40% of those asked have been embarrassed when other drivers have caught them belting out their favourite hits!

Whilst Ed Sheeran's hit from earlier this year, 'Shape of You', is placed at number 8, we see two songs from animated films included in the top 5, with Justin Timberlake's 'Can't Stop The Feeling!' from Trolls and Pharrell Williams 'Happy' from Despicable Me 2.

Check out the full top 10 below:

10. Oasis - 'Wonderwall'

Starting off with the 90s classic from Brit pop band Oasis, their original version of 'Wonderwall' was released in 1995 and just two months most famously covered by Mike Flowers Pops. It's still the original song that everyone loves though.

Ed's hit from earlier this year is already a massive hit in the car, here he is joining TV host James Corden on his infamous Carpool Karaoke segment where he belts out a number of his hits including 'Sing', 'Thinking Out Loud' and the song he wrote for Justin Bieber, 'Love Yourself'.

7. The Killers - 'Mr Brightside'

'Mr Brightside' was the American rock band's debut single in 2003, but it is still massively popular today. Two official music videos that were made, one is shown below and here is the other one.

6. Taylor Swift - 'Shake It Off'

Taylor's 2014 hit is the top spot around the world and with it's catchy hook it's no surprise it received a number of GRAMMY nominations in 2015. We love the tune, but don't suggest you do the dance in the car!

5. Beyoncé - 'Single Ladies'

Taking inspiration from a 1969 Bob Fosse routine entitled 'Mexican Breakfast' Beyoncé's dance to this song became as well-known as the song, again, we don't suggest you 'put a ring on it' while you're driving!

This fantastic, feel-good song by Justin Timberlake got everybody dancing and singing along last year, whether or not you're a fan of the Trolls film. I guess you really 'Can't Stop The Feeling'!

3. ABBA - 'Dancing Queen'

ABBA's entry is the oldest track in this top 10, but it doesn't matter how old you are, you're bound to know the words to the Swedish band's 1976 hit.

2. Bon Jovi - 'Livin' On a Prayer'

Another 80s track that has stood the test of time, you'd be hard pushed to find someone who doesn't know at least part of Bon Jovi's 'Livin' On a Prayer'. In 2006 this song topped VH1's list of The 100 Greatest Songs of the '80s and there's no doubt why.

What a tune!
