Summer isn't too far off now so we thought we'd have a look at the different types of holiday-goers. Can you relate to any of these types and do you agree with the descriptions?
Whilst a lot of people go on holiday to relax, many also go to explore a new place or take in some new culture.
Here are the five types of holiday-goers.
The Adventurer
Someone who’s on the hunt for an action packed holiday that raises the pulse.
Adventurer types say that the activities they’d most like to try on a trip are an extreme sport like hang gliding, or taking an off-road trip in a jeep.
The Unwinder
An Unwinder is someone who is happy wherever they go, as long as they get the chance to relax in a beautiful new location.
For a lot of Unwinders the most important factor to them when booking a holiday was how close they were to a beach or a sun lounger. Unwinders prefer to relax on a beach and soak up a bit of sun. Who doesn't?
The Epicurean
An Epicurean is someone who always knows the best places to try local cuisine, and will eat anything once.
Just one in 10 will ask for a waiter’s recommendation in a restaurant preferring to pick themselves, apparently an epicurean trait. Nom nom nom.
The Curator
Someone who’s always looking for local culture and traditions different from what they see every day.
A fifth of those asked saw themselves as Curators, who spend their trips exploring as much local culture and traditions as possible.
The Chameleon
Someone who relishes new opportunities and experiences, feeling totally comfortable whether it’s on a beach or in a city.
Just 15% of those asked saw themselves as a Chameleon saying they were always keen to try new experiences wherever they might be.

This is a fabulous place to stay in a restored old Georgian coaching inn (with older parts) on the southern slopes of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. Stylish and quirky, with contemporary art and fittings as well as vintage and antique furnishings, the house accommodates at least 11 people.

Simple, basic, but unusual accommodation. This is a wooden A-frame structure with enough room for two to sleep in with a mainly glass roof.

Echoing the medieval mapping practice of placing dragons and mythological beasts in uncharted seas, the phrase, "here be dragons" has become shorthand for that which is fascinating and unexplored.
