Madonna announces release of deluxe editions of classic albums

Madonna has announced that she will release deluxe editions of some of her biggest albums to mark her 40 years in music.
The Queen of Pop, who celebrated her 63rd birthday yesterday (Monday 16th August), announced that the releases are part of a deal with record label Warner Music Group.
The 'Vogue' singer and best-selling female artist of all time, has agreed to the partnership, which includes her entire recorded music back catalogue.
Madonna has had a decades-long relationship with the label, who released her debut single 'Everybody' in 1982.
The deal encompasses Madonna's 17 studio albums, including huge hits like 'Like A Virgin' and 'Like A Prayer' as well as singles, soundtrack recordings, live albums and compilations.
Madonna said: "Since the very beginning, Warner Music Group has helped bring my music and vision to all my fans around the world with the utmost care and consideration.
"They have been amazing partners, and I am delighted to be embarking on this next chapter with them to celebrate my catalog from the last 40 years."
The deluxe editions of her classic records will help celebrate the pop superstar's 40th anniversary since her recording debut, in 2022.
Fans can expect deluxe editions of her landmark albums alongside unique releases for special events.
Madonna's manager Guy Oseary, who has worked with the star since 1992, said: "Over the past 30 years, I’ve been fortunate enough to meet and spend time with many of Madonna’s incredible fans, and this new partnership will bring to fruition what so many of them have been patiently waiting for: a celebration of her groundbreaking catalog.
"My partner Sara Zambreno and I are working closely with Warner Music Group to bring new life to these iconic works."

Madonna announced 'The Celebration Tour' on 17th January. The singer will be performing hits from the last 40 years, and the show will pay respect to New York City, where her career in music began.
