Jordan Lee chats to RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner Krystal Versace 👑
We caught up with Krystal Versace about her time on the show and incredible victory

It's no secret that here at Hits Radio Pride, we're HUGE fans of RuPaul's Drag Race and have been glued to our TV screens for series three of the UK version.
Throughout Series 3, every Monday Jordan Lee caught up with the latest queen to be eliminated from RuPaul's Drag Race UK on the Hits Radio Pride Breakfast Show.
This week Jordan got chatting to the Series 3 winner Krystal Versace on Hits Radio Pride.
Krystal wowed the judges consistently throughout the show, and won several tasks but told Jordan that she never suspected she would win and that doing well "just added to the pressure".
Krystal talked about the many looks from the show and revealed the inspiration behind her outfits: "There are other queens way better at fashion than me, who are good at taking inspiration from fashion. I don't know brands, I don't know references. I just know what looks good on my body, and what makes me feel great."
At 19-years-old, Krystal is the youngest ever Drag Race winner, and she talked about the rest of her career: "Everyone when they start dragging, no one's polished, no one's it, everyone starts a little bit cracked, a little bit busted. But to be able to start there and now be here in two years, I'm like 'bring on the next two years' because then I'll be double, so in 20 years, I can't even imagine."
Talking about future plans following the win, Krystal told Jordan: "Honestly I just want to run with it, I want to be doing everything and beyond. I want to be able to represent the UK around the world, or at least what I achieved on the show. I can't wait, bring it on baby."

Here are all the Queens eliminated in Series 3:
Week 1: Anubis
The Brighton queen sashayed away after losing out to Elektra Fence on the lip sync.
Anubis told Jordan Lee: "It is an incredible cast and I feel privileged to be part of it. I wanted to have fun, I wanted to make an impact and I wanted to be camp and silly. I think I ticked all the boxes!
"I'm sad I didn't get to show off my vocals, or my songwriting or a bit of comedy, but I had an incredible lip sync with Elektra. She is one of the best performers I've ever known.
"The show is stressful but it's the most amazing dream come true for any drag performer in the world."
Week 2: Elektra Fence
After being in the bottom two contestants in Week 1, Elektra Fence managed to win the Lip Sync battle and beat Anubis to make it into Week 2. However, she found herself in the bottom two again the following week and this time lost to Vanity Milan.
Jordan told Elektra she made him cry when she gave a touching tribute to her partner while on the show and commented that: "It must've affected people watching it".
She responded: "That's all I want in life...those little children at school that get picked on or bullied for being different. I want to show them that school isn't the end...Don't listen to the bullies....they mean nothing...You will find someone who appreciates you for what you are and who you are".
Week 3: Veronica Green
Veronica had to sashay away after losing the Lip Sync for Your Life against Vanity Milan.
She told Jordan "I do drag for the art, for the love, for the passion, for the gender expression and the politicism as well. She continued: "It comes from my heart, and money can't buy that."
Week 3: Victoria Scone
Ru Paul announced to the other Queens that sadly Victoria Scone would not be returning following an injury. She told them "Based on medical advice, the amazing and talented Victoria Scone will not be returning to the competition.
"We will all miss her very much and I have a sense that we haven't seen the last of her. But for now, the show must go on."
Victoria told Jordan "You don't get this opportunity often for a drag queen, let alone a cis woman drag queen. So I really felt like I had been self-sabotaged by my own knee. Devastated."
Week 5: Charity Kase
In Week 5, Charity Kase lost Lipsync for Your Life to Scarlett Harlett and had to sashay away.
Week 6: Choriza May
Choriza May was sent home in Week 6 in a double elimination with River Medway, after her performance in Snatch Game and her runway look landed her in the bottom two.
She told Jordan: "In your own life you have control of what happens. In Drag Race the rules change, you're depending not only on what you do but what the other Queens do. Everyone wants to win. Tensions are there, exhaustion is there as well, it is really a race."
Week 6: River Medway
River Medway had to sashay away in Week 6 along with Choriza May in a shocking double elimination.
She caught up with Jordan about the drama on the show and had a message for fans: "It's just Drag as well. We're on a TV show about Drag Queens, it's not that deep. Obviously its upsetting to see people sad or being shady or being upset. but its a TV show that we filmed and its over for us, and now you get to enjoy it for what it is, a TV show about people who love to dress up and entertain people, and that's all it is. People need to remember that."
Week 7: Scarlett Harlett
After an incredible performance on the show, Scarlett Harlett was eliminated in week 7 after losing the Lip Sync Battle against Vanity Milan.
Week 9: Vanity Milan
Vanity Milan made it to the semi-finals and was the eighth queen to be eliminated.
Vanity put on a great show throughout the series but struggled with the roast challenge and lost the Lip Sync Battle against Krystal Versace, and had to sashay away.
She told Jordan: "Going up against Krystal who was born to be a Drag Queen, I knew it was my time to go, and now I'm going to bask in the glory of being one of the queens in the top four and I'm so proud of how far I've come."
Finalist: Ella Vaday
Ella Vaday managed to make it all the way to the final after winning the roast challenge and the RuPeter badge in the semi-final.
Despite her amazing performance throughout the show she lost the crown to Krystal Versace.
Finalist: Kitty Scott-Claus
Kitty Scott-Claus gave a spectacular performance throughout Series 3, and made it all the way to the final.
Although she shone brightly from the begging, Kitty finished the show as a runner-up alongside Ella Vaday, while Krystal Versace took the crown.

Tyra Sanchez won the second season of Drag Race in 2010. Tyra retired from Drag in March 2020 after sharing a post on Instagram.
Season 3: Raja
Raja won the third season of Drag Race! Sutan Amrull, who performs as Raja, went on to work on America's Next Top Model as the show's make up artist. Sutan has worked with stars including Tyra Banks, Iggy Azalea and Twiggy.
Season 4: Sharon Needles
Sharon Needles was a fan favourite and took the Drag Race crown in 2012. Needles went on to release three studio albums and mentored season 10 winner Aquaria.
Season 5: Jinkx Monsoon
Jinkx Monsoon won the fifth season of Ru Paul's Drag Race in 2013 and went on to be placed in the top 20 'most powerful drag queens in America' list by New York magazine.
Season 6: Bianca Del Rio
Perhaps the most recognisable Drag Race winner, Bianca Del Rio took the crown back in 2014. Bianca has gone on to tour several stand-up shows including a headline gig at Wembley Arena - the first Drag Queen to ever do it!
Season 7: Violet Chachki
Violet Chachki won season seven of Drag Race after excelling in the fashion and design related challenges. Chachki has walked in fashion shows and attended the Met Gala in 2019.
Season 8: Bob the Drag Queen
Violet Chachki passed on the crown to Bob the Drag Queen in season eight of Drag Race. Caldwell Tidicue, who performs as Bob the Drag Queen, started doing drag after watching season one of Drag Race!
Season 9: Sasha Velour
Winner of season nine, Sasha Velour hails from Brooklyn in New York and is the stage name of Alexander Hedges Steinberg. Sasha Velour's lip sync to Whitney Houston's 'So Emotional' in the final helped secure the crown.
Season 10: Aquaria
Aquaria won the tenth season of Drag Race and was the first queen to win both the Drag Race ball and 'Snatch Game' in the same season.
Season 11: Yvie Oddly
A decade of Drag Race! Yvie Oddly was crowned in the eleventh season of the show and said that they pursued drag after watching previous winner Sharon Needles in season four.
Season 12: Jaida Essence Hall
Jaida Essence Hall won Drag Race season 12! She previously said that the name Jaida was inspired by a friend, who called her the name after she put on a wig for the first time.
Ru Paul's Drag Race UK Series 1: The Vivienne
The Vivienne was appointed the first UK Drag Race ambassador in 2015 and went on to win the very first series of Drag Race UK in 2019. Her impression of Donald Trump in 'Snatch Game' was described by judge Michelle Visage as one of the best they had ever seen.
Ru Paul's Drag Race UK Series 2: Lawrence Chaney
Lawrence Chaney won second series of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK and became the first Scottish queen to win the show!
Ru Paul's Drag Race UK Series 3: Krystal Versace
19-year-old Krystal Versace became the show's youngest ever winner in 2021.
