Listen to Faith, Sex & Me
June is Pride Month, and in 2022 Hits Radio Pride ran a special series called “Faith Sex & Me”, going to the heart and soul of sexual identity and faith within the LGBTQ+ community. In 2023, at the Sandford St Martin awards (the UK’s most prestigious awards for radio, TV and online programmes & content that explore religious, spiritual or ethical themes), the series was runner-up in the 'young audience' category and picked up gold in the 'radio/audio' category! While often uplifting, religion can also be painful and excluding, and the aim of the series is to hear from people talking about a subject where there is often silence.
