Every week we champion a different song on Hits Radio Pride, from summer bangers from fan-favourite musicians to the latest song from up-and-coming artists. This week, we'll be playing an amazing new track from Tove Lo for you!

What is this week's Pride Priority Play?

The new PRIDE PRIORITY PLAY track is the brand new single from Swedish star TOVE LO, '2 DIE 4'.

The song samples 1972 song 'Popcorn' by Hot Butter, which has been sampled countless times over the years.

Speaking about the song, Tove said: 'For “2 Die 4” I wanted to make something nostalgic, sexy and iconic. The character for this scene is wonder woman with big d-ck energy and I just love it. Now, if you know what’s good for you, go listen on repeat'.

Fans will be thrilled to know that Tove has a new album coming on 14th October called 'Dirt Femme'.

Cheat Codes with Little Big Town and Bryn Christopher - 'Never Love You Again'

Multi-platinum Pop trio Cheat Codes, who were behind smash single 'No Promises' featuring Demi Lovato, have released their brand-new track 'Never Love You Again'.
Taken from their highly-anticipated debut album 'Hellraisers, Pt. 1', the single is a collab with GRAMMY Award-winners Country group Little Big Town and British singer-songwriter Bryn Christopher.

Conan Gray - 'People Watching'

We're championing the brand-new song from Conan Gray, 'People Watching'.
The platinum selling artist co-wrote the track with GRAMMY Award-winning Julia Michaels and the incredible 'good 4 u' hitmaker Olivia Rodrigo!
Conan said: "'People Watching' is for all my fellow lonely people who wonder what it's like to be deeply in love. I've never dated anyone in my entire life, so I've spent so many years of my life watching perfect couples sit in cafes and share coffee, whispering sweet nothings to each other.
I can't help but fantasise about what it must be like to feel that emotion. There's nothing I love more than watching them exist in their little world, where seemingly nobody else exists to them.
The song's lyrics are things I've eavesdropped off of times I used to spend people watching at the cafe in college. Studying them living their lives lets me live vicariously through them, in a way."

Tia Kofi - 'Loving Me Like That'

Icon of Drag Race UK Season 2 and The Queen of Clapham has dropped her new track 'Loving Me Like That' and we are loving it.
Tia spoke to Jordan Lee about all the incredible people she's been collaborating with: "Getting to work with people like Bright Light, Little Boots and Tom Aspaul, it sort of takes me back a little bit. Because I'm like. what did I do to deserve this?"


She told Jordan that Bright Light Bright Light was especially surreal: "it's mad, he's worked with Elton John and then, for some reason, me - it's gorgeous!"

Brooke Eden - 'Got No Choice'

Country singer-songwriter Brooke Eden is BACK with 'Got No Choice', proudly procaliming for everyone to love boldly, passionately and fearlessly. Originally released in May, Dave Audé has now put a dance spin on it!


Brooke said: "Dave Audé really put his special sauce on this one. I can't wait to dance to the 'Got No Choice' remix with my go-go boots on and a Paloma in my hand!"

Lost Frequencies featuring Calum Scott, 'Where Are You Now'

Speaking about the new release and working with Britain's Got Talent star Calum Scott, Lost Frequencies said: "I'm super excited to share this new song in collaboration with Calum Scott. I'm happy we got to work together as he already asked me to remix his track 'Dancing On My Own', previously that's didn't come to work out at the time, but now we worked together on this original track.
"He absolutely nailed the vocals and I can't wait to play this one live, I hope everybody will love this one as much as I do!"

Kim Petras - 'Future Starts Now'

The track is the first taste of Kim's upcoming debut album! On the new single, she said: "I felt so anxious at the start of lockdown, because for me the most anxiety-inducing thing is not being able to work and do what I love, "Future Starts Now" came from trying to stay present, instead of stressing about the future and all the lost time."

Fletcher - 'Girls Girls Girls’

Up-and-coming US star Fletcher's 'Girls Girls Girls' is an inspired re-imagining of the Katy Perry classic "I Kissed a Girl" – and in her own words: "'Girls Girls Girls' is the freedom and the celebration I've been craving my whole life, and a way for me to share my own perspective and journey while honouring a song that empowered me to embark on it in the first place."

Tia Kofi - 'I Want It All'

Fresh from her debut EP hitting No.1 on the iTunes pop chart and No.3 on the iTunes main chart, Tia Kofi returned with her new single 'I Want It All', an electro pop version of the iconic song Chantelle Houghton performed in the Celebrity Big Brother house when she tried to convince people she was a member of pop group Kandy Floss!

Self Esteem - 'You Forever'

'You Forever' is from Self Esteem's highly anticipated second album 'Prioritise Pleasure' which came out in October 2021.
Self Esteem is an experimental-pop project, by British musician Rebecca Lucy Taylor. The inspiration for her stage name comes from the evolution of her confidence from her early 20s.

Darragh Chaplin - 'Friends’

Up-and-coming artist Darragh Chaplin's song 'Friends' dives into that moment where a friendship becomes one sided and the boundaries are unclear. On the track, Darragh said: 'This song is about knowing it's time for a friendship to end, but knowing it and doing are two separate things, especially when you've grown to depend on the person and you're scared of letting them go".

Billy Porter - 'Children'

Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award-winning actor, singer, writer and director Billy Porter released his song 'Children' in October 2021. The song is a high-energy dance-floor anthem co-written with Grammy Award-nominated songwriter MNEK and Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall.

The Anxiety, WILLOW and Tyler Cole - 'Meet Me At Our Spot'

'Meet Me At Our Spot' is deep, and hits on a pretty serious subject - but has a storming pop hook and soaring vocals! Willow Smith (yep, daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith) shows just how much she's matured and developed her sound since 'Whip My Hair'.
Going by the stage name WILLOW, she performs this song with Tyler Cole and The Anxiety.

Jakk Fynn - 'Let it Go'

Fresh new talent Jakk Fynn released his track 'Let it Go' in October 2021. American Jakk describes himself as transmasculine Latinx, and says he's: "committed to redefining masculinity".

The Knocks ft Parson James - 'River'

Parson James teamed up with The Knocks to create the incredible single 'River'. Parson shot to fame in 2015 when he duetted with KYGO on 'Stole the Show'. Originally from South Carolina, he moved to New York aged 17, because he knew it would offer wider opportunities to a bi-racial gay man.

JORDY - 'Long Distance'

Pop singer-songwriter JORDY released his incredible song 'Long Distance' in February 2021 and we've been obsessed with it ever since.

Tom Aspaul - 'Let Them (It’s All Love)'

Wolverhampton born and bred Tom Aspaul's songwriting credits include Kylie Minogue and Alunageorge among others, and his amazing song 'Let Them (It's All Love)' and its futuristic music video were released on 11th January.


Tom's second album 'Life in Plastic' is in the making and we can't wait!

'Dizzy' - Chloe Moriondo

Rising American singer-songwriter Chloe Moriondo created the song 'Dizzy' with fellow rising stars Thomas Headon and Alfie Templeman.
As well as creating indie-rock and bedroom-pop music, Chloe is also a YouTuber, and has over 3 million subscribers.

Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama - 'Beg For You'

Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama released their highly-anticipated song 'Beg For You' on 27th January, and it's BEYOND brilliant! Fingers crossed these two create more music together.

Peach PRC - 'Heavy'

Pink-obsessed Australian TikTok star Peach PRC released her song 'Heavy' in November 2021. This rising star released her debut single 'Josh' in February 2021 and has been bringing out some incredible tunes since!

Sofi Tukker - 'Original Sin'

'Original Sin' is the first release from forthcoming album 'Wet Tennis' (When Everyone Tries to Evolve, Nothing Negative Is Safe), from the incredible singing duo Sofi Tukker.

Jodie Harsh - 'Good Time'

DJ and drag performer Jodie Harsh dropped her INCREDIBLE track 'Good Time' on 18th February and we are obsessed with it!

Kehlani - 'Up At Night'

Kehlani teamed up with Justin Bieber to bring out the song 'Up At Night' ahead of her amazing 'Blue Water Road' album release in April.


The pair have worked togethr before on Justin's track 'Get Me' from his 2020 album 'Changes'.

Pabllo Vittar - 'Follow Me'

Drag Queen superstar Pabllo Vittar released the hit track 'Follow Me' with songstress Rina Sawayama on 1st April and we are OBSESSED!

Elaine Mai - 'No Forever'

Irish singer-songwriter Elaine Mai brought MayKay onto her track 'No Forever (PBH & JACK REMIX)'. Elaine's debut album 'Home' was released in October 2021, and has already been nominated for a RTE Choice Music Prize.

Sam Smith - 'Love Me More'

We can't get enough of this new track from Sam Smith! Along with releasing 'Love Me More', Sam dropped an incredible music video complete with clips of childhood videos.

Will Young - 'Why Does It Hurt (Moto Blanco mix)'

The one and only Will Young is back with his incredible '20 Years - The Greatest Hits' album which will come out on 27th May. Ahead of the album, he released his new track 'Why Does It Hurt (Moto Blanco mix)' which we were LOVING here on Hits Radio Pride!

Tia Kofi - 'Heart Beating'

The lovely Tia Kofi teamed up with K-Pop star MRSHLL to create their amazing song 'Heart Beating'. The electro pop duet is influenced by the 80s and brings together the Drag Queen pop superstar and the first openly gay K-Pop Star in a dream collab!

Rina Sawayama - This Hell'

The talented Rina Sawayama dropped her new song 'This Hell' on 18th May from her forthcoming album 'Hold The Girl' and we are living for it!

Hayley Kiyoko - 'For The Girls'

We can't stop listening to US singer/actress Hayley Kiyoko's amazing single 'For The Girls'! The song dropped on 20th May and the music video has since had over a million views!

Muna - 'Sometimes'

American three-piece MUNA have done a fab cover of the Britney classic track 'Sometimes' which came out on her debut album back in 1999.


MUNA's version is taken from the new romantic comedy film Fire Island, which is loosely based on Pride & Prejudice!

Icona Pop and Ultra Naté - 'You're Free'

Icona Pop and Ultra Naté have joined forces for a new take on Ultra Naté's 1998 hit 'Free', releasing 'You're Free'. The 90s singer liked the track so much she recorded all new vocals!

Dove Cameron - 'Breakfast'

'Breakfast' by Dove Cameron is the follow-up to the singer's Top 10 song 'Boyfriend' and has been written by Dove, along with Delacey, who has worked with Justin Bieber, Halsey, Demi Lovato.

Fletcher - 'Her Body Is Bible'

Fletcher is releasing her debut album 'Girl Of My Dreams' on 16th September, and dropped her amazing new track 'Her Body is Bible' ahead of the full album release!

Vincint - 'Taste So Good'

This upbeat summer song from Vincint Cannady is super catchy! The amazing track 'Taste So Good' also features Hayley Kiyoko, MNEK and Kesha!

Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Wuh Oh - 'Hypnotized'

Sophie Ellis-Bextor created this amazing track 'Hypnotized' with Glaswegian producer, composer, and performer WUH-OH.
Speaking about the song, Sophie said: "Hypnotized is my favourite kind of wonky pop song. Fast paced, melodic and has a kind of 'what did I just listen to?!' brilliance to it, too."

S G Lewis - 'Missing You'

British producer S G Lewis dropped another banger! We love the 80s vibes 'Missing You' has.

Betty Who 'She Can Dance'

We absolutely LOVE the new single 'She Can Dance' from Australian/American singer-songwriter Betty Who.

Speaking about the track she said: "I love to move, I have a ton of energy. It's always been something that I really want to do. I love the way that I can express myself through my body."
