The fantastic Harry Styles joined Jordan-Lee this morning (1st April) to talk about his new single 'As It Was', and he revealed to us on Hits Radio the unusual place that he wrote his new song, as well as how the concept of 'Harry's House' came about.

Explaining it didn't originally have the 80s vibe, Harry said: "The piano line was being played on a piano, and then turned into that synth and it kind of took on a new life. I'm a fan of it, it's one of my favourite songs on the album."

Where did Harry Styles write 'As It Was'?

'As It Was' was the last song Harry wrote for the album, and Harry told how it was written, he said: "It was written in my friend's front room in the English countryside, and it started off much slower, as it was being written it was a lot slower."

"I hope people are liking it," he said, and he won't be disappointed, because they certainly are! The music video for 'As It Was' was released at midnight on Friday (1st April), and it has already had more than 10 million views!

The music video filmed in London, and directed by Ukrainian Grammy Award-nominated director Tanu Muino, who described it as: "One of the happiest days of my life".

Harry's new album 'Harry's House' will be out in May, and according to many fans who have seen Harry on tour, he's been dropping hints about it, but when Jordan-Lee quizzed the 'Watermelon Sugar' singer, he said: "I think sometimes maybe people go back and find coincidences like, I was dropping hints, maybe I was, and maybe I wasn't, and I think some of them make me look a little smarter than I am."

It was only a day after Harry dropped his album trailer that fans thought they'd found a hidden song in reverse.

Wanting to know more about the upcoming album 'Harry's House', Jordan-Lee asked the former One Direction singer: "Where is the House?".

Harry explained it was an idea he'd had for a while, and to begin with he did have "a specific house, and geographical thing" in mind. However: "During the process of the album it became much more of an internal journey of finding home and peace with one's self. It kind of went through a lot of different meanings."

"This is definitely my favourite stuff that I've made, and I'm really, really proud of it and I'm excited to finally be able to share it with people."

Now take a look through Harry Styles' amazing fashion over the years:

2010: One Direction

After initially auditioning as solo candidates, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and Liam Payne were put together by Simon Cowell as One Direction. On stage, the teenagers were heavily styled by The X Factor producers but off stage, 16-year-old Harry joined his bandmates in wearing typically teen-friendly tracksuits, hoodies and gilets.

Harry sent teens around the UK crazy when he rocked an adorable fluffy animal hat outside The X Factor. Of course, sales for the hat went through the roof when it was discovered to be from River Island!

The One Direction revolution swept the globe and the boys' popularity skyrocketed.
