Dad and son duo walk nearly 200 miles - from Molineux to Newcastle

They've raised tens of thousands of pounds for charity - and this is just the warm-up, ahead of the London Marathon

A dad and son duo have already raised tens of thousands of pounds for walking 195 miles from Molineux to Newcastle in just 4 and a half days.

It's ahead of Manny Singh Kang's 4th London Marathon this year, raising vital funds for Dementia UK - and he's got just the one message for those following his journey this year.

On X, formally known as Twitter, he said: 'Get your kids into giving back, pass on the baton and watch them grow into awesome humans'.

In an update earlier this morning, Manny said: "With 5 miles to go, a Wolves family stopped for a pic and hug, and I gave the walking pole that had been with me for the previous 185, to the young lad with them.

"Get ur kids into giving back, pass on the baton and watch them grow into awesome humans."

In an update on their JustGiving page, Manny said: "A season of fundraising begins...its my 4th London Marathon in April 2024 but before that, my biggest challenge yet. 195miles from Wolves to Newcastle with my son Jeevan!!... In just 4.5days!
