Police search for man with stab wound in Bournemouth

Police area searching for a man in Bournemouth who claimed he had been stabbed.

Officers were called to the Townsend Community Centre in Jewell Road last Tuesday where it is reported that a man with a stab wound had presented himself asking for help. The man left shortly after in the direction of Stone Gardens.

Police conducted a search of the area, but the man could not be located.

Police Constable Callum Mercer, of Bournemouth police, said: “We are making a number of enquiries to establish the identity of the victim and his whereabouts.

“I would like to make a direct plea to the man to please get in touch so we can make sure he is OK and find out what happened.

“Also, I am keen to speak with anyone with information about the incident that may help our investigation.”
