The much-anticipated teepee appeared at The Oast House in Manchester last week and Cash for Kids took over it for one night along with Brainwave Children's Charity for their joint event ‘Talent in a teepee’.

6 acts, made up of employees from local Manchester Businesses, were sponsored to sing their hearts out to classics such as Take That’s Pray and Five’s Everybody Get Up. Breakfast presenter Matt Haslam gave a questionable but rather hilarious performance of Jay-z and Beyonce’s Crazy In Love, with the lyrics firmly stuck to the palm of his hand.

Thank you so much to all 6 acts who made the night extremely entertaining; Paul Atherton and the Vicars of Timperley, Danny Simpson and the Mid Communications 'Fiver', Joe Sapcote from Allied Irish Bank, Louise Newton from Apogee Graphics, Matt Haslam and singers as 'Lay-z and Keyonce' and local favourite Jack Dunning.

Congratulations to Joe Sapcote who received top marks from the judges (including So Wright) and scored the highest audience votes, making him the Talent in a Teepee 2017 winner.

Winner- Joe Sapcote

This event wouldn't have been made possible without the incredible help and support from The Raggamuffins, Genre Music, Blacka Acoustics and Blueprint Studios.

Another fantastic event with over £5000 raised for Cash for Kids and Brainwave Children's Charity!
