Cash for Kids receives HUGE donation of toys

The Kamani family and boohoo Group whose brands include boohoo, boohooMAN and PrettyLittleThing have donated £500,000 worth of toys to this year's Mission Christmas appeal in Greater Manchester

Mission Christmas is Hits Radio Cash for Kids annual campaign to distribute toys to disadvantaged children across the UK. Toys donated as part of the appeal in Greater Manchester will go to help the near 1 in 3 children that live in poverty across the region. For those families Christmas is a luxury they just can't afford.

The Kamani's donation will help an incredible 12,500 children across Manchester which goes a long way to help fulfill the 63,000 applications for toys Cash for Kids have received. We urge as many people as possible to donate to this great cause by purchasing and extra toy this Christmas.

"Hits Radio Cash for Kids and Mission Christmas is a charity close to our hearts and something we are extremely passionate about. At this time of year it's important we give something back to our community." said the Kamani Family.

Gemma Atkinson headed down to the Mission Christmas Warehouse at 5 Baring Street, Manchester to meet the family and thank them for their generous donation.

"Mission Christmas is a brilliant way for people to act in the true spirit of the season and give a little something to disadvantaged young people who really do deserve it." said Gemma.
