Calke Abbey - Derbyshire

Calke Abbey is part of the national trust, so it hosts many fabulous events. Although the house is just for humans... there are over 600 acres of land for you to enjoy walking the dogs. Dogs are more than welcome to sit in the restaurants with a unique frozen yoghurt stand which will go down a treat with your pup. This place truly does cater to every dog need you may have, with water bowls outside the cafes and plenty of shaded eating areas.

Wollaton Hall - Nottinghamshire

This location is a large park with a whole lot of open grass lawns, meaning you can let your dogs off the lead in most of the park (you just can't where the deer are - which is marked clearly). With some hilly parts, flat ground and a park - your furry friend really has the control where they’d like to play around. The park is built around a stunning large lake to walk around or for the dogs to swim in!

Market Bosworth Country Park - Leicestershire

It is a very easily accessible park with great open fields that lead to a bunch of footpaths to the far corner. Its large duck pond is always a talking feature amongst the dog owners, and its pathed wooded walking lap makes for great varied dog walking.

The Bradgate Park Trust - Leicestershire

This park super safe for your pup as every area is clearly marked. There are areas in which the dogs are required to be kept on a lead where the deers are roaming free. However huge lawn areas are still available at the back of the park, where they can be let free. The River Lin is well kept and super fresh, so it's a great place for the dogs to go and drink some clean, fresh water and paddle in. This place is beautifully kept, and a is a treasure to Leicestershire.
