A double goal from Jamie Vardy's helped Leicester City clinch the Championship title, with the already-promoted side securing 3-nil victory over Preston North End.

Kasey McAteer added a third goal for the Foxes in the 67th minute.

Having led the promotion race for much of the season, Leicester's celebrations began last Friday after their promotion was confirmed by Leeds being thrashed 4-nil away at QPR.

It makes Leicester the fourth club in as many years to make an immediate Premier League return as Championship title winners following relegation - following Burnley, Fulham and Norwich.
