Long queues on the M1 near Leicester after crash

There's long delays on the M1 in Leicestershire this morning after reports of a multi-vehicle collision.

National Highways East Midlands say emergency services are on the scene, after the crash at about 06.45 this morning (12/04) northbound between Junction 20 for Lutterworth and Junction 21 for Leicester.

We're told that the vehicles involved have been moved to the hard shoulder for clean up and recovery works to take place.

Drivers were facing delays of up to 45 minutes and urged them to allow additional time to travel.
