Woman treated for stab injuries in Hull

A 60-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder following reports of a serious assault in an address in Hull on Saturday

Adam Witold Kaleta of Malm Street, Hull was charged on Sunday 28 April.

He appeared at Hull Magistrates Court today, where he was remanded in custody.

Police were called at around 9.45am to reports that a woman had sustained stab wounds at a property on Malm Street.

Emergency services attended and the woman was taken to hospital for treatment to injuries, where she currently remains in a stable condition.
