Woman dies following collision near Kilnwick
74 year old's family being supported by specialist police officers
A 74 year old woman has died in hospital more than a week after being involved in a two-car collision in East Yorkshire.
She was rushed to hospital following a crash on the B1248.
Police say she passed away yesterday and her family are receiving support.
It is believed that shortly after 10am, a blue Ford Fiesta and grey Citroen C4 were in collision at the crossroads for Kilnwick.
Despite the efforts of medical professionals the woman died in hospital on Sunday.
Humberside Police say her family are being supported by specially trained officers.
They are continuing to appeal for anyone who witnessed the incident or has dashcam footage from of the incident, or the vehicles prior to colliding, to contact them.
