Long before the headlines and headline slots, Amy Winehouse was only used to performing 'Happy Birthday' for her closest friends.
In a clip from the upcoming documentary 'Amy', a film about the singer's life and tragic death, Amy is recorded singing 'Happy Birthday' to her friend Lauren Gilbert.
As the three friends begin to sing to Lauren, in the background you begin to hear that voice. Clearly in awe, the friends allow Amy to carry on unaccompanied as she finishes the song in a stunning solo performance.
At the age of only 14, the footage is a beautiful reminder of just how talented Amy Winehouse was.
'Amy' the documentary is released on 3rd July 2015.
