New Alison Hammond waxwork unveiled on This Morning

It's safe to say TV presenter Alison Hammond is pretty much everywhere at the moment, hosting shows such as This Morning, For The Love of Dogs, and The Great British Bake Off to name a few.
And whilst the lovely Alison is gracing our screens, This Morning viewers on today's (Friday 26th April) episode were lucky enough to get a double dose of Hammond, as her brand new waxwork was officially unveiled.
Whilst Alison presented today's episode alongside co-host Dermot O'Leary, he asked viewers "Are you ready for a double dose of the Hammond?", before Madame Tussauds Blackpool's latest star was unveiled.
As fans watched a short behind-the-scenes film of how the impressive waxwork was created over the last year, Alison said: “I can’t tell you how much of an incredible experience that was, seeing myself. I know it’s not got the colour yet, but honestly I cannot wait to see the finished product.”
As the curtain dropped, Dermot said: “Here we go! Get ready for double trouble my friends, the moment we’ve been waiting for…”
In shock at the result, Alison gushed: “Oh my gosh! Shall I stand next to her? I can see myself from behind, it’s so weird I can’t tell you! I think she’s more beautiful… What’s it like having an Alison sandwich?”
Dermot replied: “It’s quite overwhelming I’ve got to be honest with you! I’m not sure I can handle more than one!”
Later on, Alison added: “Can I just say that the team at Madame Tussauds, they have worked so hard and you’ve done such a good job - I can’t believe I’m looking at myself! Look at the lashes! Well go and see her, she is going to be in Blackpool, go and have a selfie with her, she’s lovely!”

Madame Tussauds Blackpool also shared news of Alison's waxwork to their Instagram page, teasing a date of arrival into the popular attraction.
