Andrea Corr and Gary Kemp have led a tribute to David Bowie at the Isle of Wight festival.

The pair – who only met as they walked up to the main stage – sang a stripped back version of Bowie’s Starman.

The crowd had been encouraged to wear Bowie masks for this, handed out in return for a donation to charity Stand Up To Cancer.

The presence of Bowie was strong at this year's festival, as it was there that Bowie performed for the last time back in 2004. The VIP area bar has been named 'Blackstar' in honour of the singer's final album.
