Fans were left shocked earlier this week, when the news broke that 'Side By Side' singer Ariana Grande and her fiancé of four months, comedian Pete Davidson has split. Now, the singer has broken her social media silence addressing the split.

Taking to Instagram, the singer, who was at an NBC taping of a concert special - A Very Wicked Halloween, has posted a number of photos since the split rumours emerged. The first photo shows the script notes from the concert she was performing in, showing Ariana Grande will be performing the song 'The Wizard and I' from the musical Wicked.

She then posted a series of three photos of herself, wearing black clothes, coupled with green/black lipstick and strikingly, dark eyeshadow - assumed to be for her performance. Two of her captions also included a black heart emoji. 🖤

Despite having the comments disabled on her photos, all of them have individually received over a million likes and fans have taken to Twitter to support the singer, tweeting messages such as, 'Love you loads and loads. Thinking of you x😘', 'she has no more tears left to cry....thinking of you my love...GOD BLESS🙏🏻😘' and 'Ariana Grande if you’re reading this I’m thinking of you 💘'.

Also taking to her Instagram Stories, Ariana has posted a photo saying, 'Can't believe I almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today!! Not today satan! Not tomorrow or the next day either not no more u can suck my big green d--k'. sic
