Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner divorcing after 10 years together

Hollywood A-listers Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner are divorcing after a decade together.
Making the split even more heart-wrenching is that the couple announced it just a day after their tenth anniversary together.
Confirming the news, Ben and Jennifer said in a statement: “After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce.
“We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”
Ben, 42, and Jennifer, 43, have three children together – daughters Violet Anne (9) and Seraphina "Sera" Rose Elizabeth (6) and son Samuel (3).
Rumours of their split were ignited last week when a removal van was spotted outside their Pacific Palisades home.
Their representatives rubbished the rumours of a split saying the van was being for home improvements.
A source close the couple has told People Magazine intend to “seek mediation” over the divorce.
Before getting together with Jennifer, Ben had previously dated Gwyneth Paltrow and Jennifer Lopez. Garner was married to actor Scott Foley from 2000 to 2004.
