Strictly Come Dancing fans were left angered last week after professional dancer Brendan Cole was axed from the popular dancing show after 15 series.
One week later, it looks like Brendan has landed himself a shiny new job, across the pond in America.
According to new reports, Brendan has been contacted by the American version of Strictly, Dancing With The Stars, with Len Goodman reportedly putting in a good word for him.
A source for the show has confirmed that Brendan is very keen on the idea of moving to the US, as it will be a fresh start for the dancer.
Dancing With The Stars first aired in America in 2005, with a number of dancers and judges from Strictly Come Dancing also appearing on the show.
Former Strictly head judge Len Goodman continues his role on the show, as well as loveable judge Bruno Tonioli.
Celebrities who have appeared on Dancing With The Stars include the likes of Nicole Scherzinger, Mel B and Mario Lopez.
Brendan revealed he'd been axed from Strictly Come Dancing during an interview on Lorraine last week.
Visibly holding back the tears as he revealed the news, Brendan confirmed the BBC hadn't renewed his contract after 13 years of him being on the show.
He said, “It’s quite, actually, hard to talk about. The BBC haven’t renewed my contract. We get contracted year upon year. They’ve made an editorial decision to not have me back on the show. I’m a little bit in shock. I’m quite emotional, a bit raw about it.
“It’s done via a process of a phone call and stuff. I have had 15 incredible series on the show. I’m very proud of the whole show. It’s a great team.”
He later added, “I’m disappointed. It’s very hard to talk about. It’s a recent decision."

After his appearance on the show, the Strictly Come Dancing press office tweeted the news, thanking Brendan for his services on the show. The tweet read, 'We'd like to thank @BrendanCole for being part of the show since the beginning - winner of the first series - and for the contribution he has made to its success. The New Zealand born dancer first appeared on Strictly Come Dancing way back in 2005 when the show first hit TV screens.
