Brian McFadden shows alarming results of bee sting after allergic reaction

Former Westlife singer Brian McFadden has endured the unfortunate experience of having an allergic reaction to a bee sting, leaving his face completely unrecognisable.

42-year-old Brian took to Instagram to showcase the results of the reaction, which shows his face and neck completely swollen. Making a joke out of the situation, Brian shared a video of himself in an hospital bed, attempting to sing along to LMFAO's hit track 'Sexy And I Know It'.

He wrote: 'Stung by a bee and got an allergic reaction!! Owning that look! Free Botox and fillers!!!!!' (sic)

Fans of Brian were quick to send their well wishes, with some of his friends seeing the funny side to his shock reaction.

One fan wrote: 'Oh my gosh, feel better soon!', with another adding: 'Omgggg feel better x'.

Actor Jay Duffy quoted 1985 movie The Goonies, jokingly writing: 'Heeeeyyyy uuuuuuu guuuuuyyyyssssss', whilst Vernon Kay wrote: 'WTF!!! Buzzin’. (sic)

Brian later shared another update with fans, posting a timeline of photos to show the extent of the reaction. Whilst the first photo shows the moment the sting happened, the last one shows Brian's face completely swollen.

He wrote: 'The time line of the sting to reaction. Still goin'. (sic)

Updating his fans this morning (Thursday 11th August), Brian revealed the reaction is now starting to ease, saying: 'My face is calming down again. Thanks for all your lovely messages. Now excited to play in the @mariekeatingfoundation golf day at the Kclub. An incredible charity always a brilliant day and catching up with old friends.' (sic)

Brian and his fiancée Danielle Parkinson welcomed their first child into the world back in May 2021, after conceiving her via IVF treatment after they suffered two heartbreaking miscarriages.

The couple welcomed a baby girl called Ruby Jean McFadden, with Brian sharing their happy news on social media at the time.

Brian, who is also a proud dad to 20-year-old Molly and 18-year-old Lilly from his former marriage to Kerry Katona, often shares the most adorable photos of baby Ruby to his social media accounts.
