Britney Spears announces she's engaged to Sam Asghari
And shows off her stunning diamond ring
Singer Britney Spears has delighted her loyal fan base by confirming she's now engaged to her long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari.
Britney, who has been dating Sam for nearly five years, announced her lovely news on Instagram over the weekend, posting a video featuring her stunning diamond engagement ring.
The 39-year-old excitedly wrote: 'I can’t f---ing believe it 💍💍💍💍💍💍❣️!!!!!!'.
27-year-old Sam also shared the news to his own followers, with the Iranian-born actor's manager releasing the following statement:
"The couple made their long-standing relationship official today and are deeply touched by the support, dedication and love expressed to them.
"He couldn't be happier to be involved and make this one-of-a-kind ring."
Britney's celebrity friends and fans were quick to congratulate the pair on their happy news.
Paris Hilton commented: 'Congratulations love!! 😍 So happy for you! Welcome to the club! 👰🏼💍'.
A fan then wrote: 'CONGRATULATIONS!!!!! WE ARE SO HAPPY FOR YOU! YOU BROKE THE INTERNET YET AGAIN TOO 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 🔥🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸💕', with another adding: 'SO happy for you, queen!!!!'. (sic)
A third then wrote: 'you deserve ALL of this, queen 👸🏼'. (sic)
