Calvin Harris bought himself a jaw-dropping birthday present worth £4.1 million

Calvin Harris is one of the world's most well-paid DJs - earning $48.5 million (£36 million) in 2017 according to Forbes, so when it comes to a birthday treat there's no holding back. Today (17th January) is Calvin's 34th birthday, and to kick off his birthday celebrations he has only gone and purchased a mansion in Los Angeles!
Not only is the mansion in an exclusive neighbourhood, its former owner is former Swedish House Mafia member Steve Angello.
Calvin's huge new Hollywood Hills property was originally listed for $5.5 million (£4.1 million) in October by the 'Don't You Worry Child' DJ, and features four bedrooms, four bathrooms and a grand living room, with an 18-foot ceiling, a pool and a jaw-dropping view of Los Angeles.

Calvin Harris, real name Adam Wiles, had a fantastic year in 2017 and celebrated by posting a photo on Instagram saying, 'Thank you for supporting my music in 2017 !!!'.
At the beginning of 2017 Calvin teased fans saying he would be releasing 10 songs, simply replying to a fan's tweet with the number '10'.
Over the following months he went on to release a whole host of collaborations, from Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry and Big Sean on 'Feels', to Frank Ocean and Migos' collaboration 'Slide'. He then went on to release his fifth studio album 'Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1', which reached number 2 in the charts.
Although there is no word yet on what Calvin's next release will be, it has been more than six months since 'Feels' was released, so hopefully there will be more in the pipeline soon!
