Presenter reveals her reason for leaving
Carol Vorderman has announced why she left the TV show Loose Women explaining ‘I’m getting older’.
The ex-Countdown co-host said a hectic schedule was emotionally and physically tiring, comparing it to like being on a hamster wheel where there’s a danger of doing too much.
Confessing that she’s a bit of a workaholic, she told a national newspaper that her health is important and she’s now enjoying having a lighter workload.
The 54-year-old was on Loose Women for three years before leaving to focus on her elderly mum as well as her education program which helps children further their maths skills.
‘The Maths Factor’ was set up five years ago with hopes the subject will be treated like English with children practicing it everyday.
The star is also known for her role in Countdown which she began in the 80s.
