The new series of Celebrity Big Brother kicks off in January and by the sounds of it it’s going to be the biggest line-up to date involving both past housemates and brand new celebrities.

Now reports are suggesting that CBB bosses are trying their best to line-up controversial X Factor star Honey G for the show which is set to hit TV screens in early 2017.

According to rumours, Channel 5 want Honey G, real name Anne Georgette Guilford, to enter the house to show the ‘real person’ behind her famous hat and glasses. They said, "Viewers only ever saw her in character as Honey G, we've yet to see her as Anna".

Honey G seemingly played down the rumours when she took to Twitter to write, “This is not true, I haven’t agreed to be on Big Brother.” However, with her debut single set to be released this week, it would be great exposure for the marmite rapper.

Honey G divided the nation when she controversially made it all the way through to the X Factor live shows this year. As the weeks passed, the rapper continued to make it through, leaving viewers of the show angered when other contestants were forced to leave.

She was finally eliminated in week seven after the judges decided to save boyband 5 After Midnight.

Despite this, the rapper has gained a record deal with Simon Cowell’s label Syco and is set to release her debut single this week! Just one week after winner Matt Terry’s winner’s single 'When Christmas Comes Around'.

No teasers of Honey G’s track are yet to be released but we almost guarantee it will include the lyrics ‘When I say Honey, you say G!”.

Celebrity Big Brother is set to hit Channel 5 on Tuesday 6th January with some familiar names all rumoured.

Past contestants Katie Price, Heidi and Spencer Pratt and current winner Stephen Bear are all set to return as ‘All Stars’ with the likes of Bianca Gascoigne and Honey G rumoured as the new additions.
