Celebrity Big Brother receive criticism for airing Angie's reaction to ex-husband David Bowie's death
The pair had been married for 10 years
There’s been a backlash on social media after David Bowie’s ex-wife Angie was filmed crying after being told about his death on Celebrity Big Brother.
She was told off camera that the star had died from cancer on January 10th.
The model and actress said: “I haven't seen him in so many years, I can't make a big drama out of it,"
"It just feels like an era has ended with his passing."
She then told housemates “The stardust has gone”.
It's caused a backlash on Twitter as some people said the decision to film her reaction was disrespectful.
However in a tweet a spokesperson for the show said that she’d been told off camera and then spoke about it on the show.
Angie, who was married to the musician for 10 years, has decided to stay in the house.
The pair split in 1980 and have a son, Duncan.
