They were the reunion no one was expecting, but Charlie Simpson, Matt Willis and James Bourne say they've been overwhelmed by the positive response to Busted's new music.

The threesome announced they were reforming back in 2015. It was a shock to fans, as Charlie's sudden exit from the band in 2005 led many to believe Busted's glory days were behind them.

Charlie famously revealed he was leaving the band in a press conference in 2005, and went on to find minor success with his band FIghtstar and solo work. Matt and James also persued solo careers, and went on tour with McFly in 2013 as part of the McBusted tour.

The boys are back together now though, and have just come off a successful UK tour. They're set to release a new album called Night Driver, and have already released their first new single On What You're On.

The humour of their unlikely reunion isn't lost on the boys though.

'There was more chance we wouldn't reform than Oasis' joked Charlie Simpson as he talked to our Entertainment Team.

After the boys released On What You're On, there were some commenters that criticised the band's change in sound. But overall, Matt says the response has been psotive.

'We're putting out something which is a brand new sound and a brand new time in our career', Matt said.

'We've been so stoke with how people have taken it'
