Daniel Craig's James Bond replacement could be a massive pop star

The editor on the last James Bond film, Spectre, has sparked speculation that One Direction member and solo singer Harry Styles could be next in line to play 007. A source told the Daily Star that film editor, Lee Smith, has his hopes set on the ‘Sign Of The Times’ singer.
The Daily Star has reported that they are not turning their backs on the idea that having a younger, fresher Bond could be a good idea.
Lee has reportedly said, "Harry could do it. If they wanted a younger Bond then why not? He has got it. Harry is really good and he can go all the way. He is an exceptional talent and a complete natural on camera.
Talking about Harry's work on Dunkirk Lee said, "You would have thought you were dealing with a guy with many years of experience. You would never know that was his first film. I didn't know who Harry was".
He continued, "Of course my daughter explained to me that you don't get any more famous that Harry Styles. But he was really good and a genuinely charismatic fellow. If he wants to act, I cannot imagine he would not have a great future".
Harry Styles auditioned for his part in Dunkirk alongside many other hopefuls and told Empire magazine at the time what it was like being on set saying,
"The toughest days were the ones in the water, but at least it meant you didn’t have to act cold. By making it real and having things blow up around you and stuff, you get those natural reactions."
Away from music, in addition to his acting part in Dunkirk, Harry Styles has also tried his hand at presenting. In December 2017 he stepped in at the last minute for James Corden, after his wife gave birth just hours before he was due to present his TV show, The Late Late Show With James Corden.
The 'Sign of The Times' singer made a big entrance to the show with a five minute monologue which started, "No, your eyes do not deceive you – I am not James Corden. I am Harry Styles."
Harry then went on to explain why he was filling in for the host and joked, "In fact, I was at the hospital just before coming over here, and she looks a lot like James – mainly because James looks like a giant baby."

So, will Harry will eventually take the leading role in James Bond? We'll have to wait and see.
