David Bowie sadly passed away from cancer aged 69 and loved ones and the world of music are in mourning. Tributes to the British icon have poured in as his death came as a shock to the public. However for the last few days the musician's wife, Iman, had been posting heartfelt Instagram messages that have taken on new meaning after his death.
On his birthday she shared a number of photos of her musician husband.
The model was married to Bowie for nearly 24 years, and the couple had one daughter, Alexandria Zahra.Bowie has a son Duncan from his first marriage to Angie Barnett.
