Duncan reveals dad David Bowie was to be a grandfather

David Bowie’s son Duncan Jones has announced he is to become a father for the first time with his wife Rodene Jones.
Duncan announced the news on Twitter, while marking a month since his father David passed away from cancer at the age of 69.
The award winning director revealed that he had told his father the good news in Christmas card before his passing.
Duncan’s wife also got in on the announcement, reposting her husband’s tweet with the humorous caption of “Shame on those of you who just thought I was really fat and didn’t say anything. HAHA.”
Duncan is the eldest of David’s sons and is the only child from the singer's marriage to ex-wife Angie.
