Emmerdale’s Matthew Wolfenden and Charley Webb announce unusual baby name
The couple shared the first picture of their son.
Soap favourites Matthew Wolfenden and Charley Webb have confirmed they have chosen to call their baby boy Bowie Grey.
The pair welcomed their little man into the world on 19th December 2015, but up until now have been very quiet about their son, giving no details or pictures away.
However proud mum Charley Webb has now shared the first image of the little one on her Twitter account, confirming the unusual name.
The Emmerdale star explained the name decision had nothing to do with the passing of music legend David Bowie, despite the timing of his death in January this year. Matthew told OK Magazine “Don’t get me wrong, I’m a fan of David Bowie but that wasn’t why we chose the name. We just both loved it.”
The couple announced Bowie’s birth on New Year’s Eve with a sweet tweet which read:
Bowie Grey is the couple’s second child, after they welcomed their first son Buster back in 2010.
