This Morning hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield were left in fits of laughter yesterday when Holly's handbag got trapped on a door handle as she left the ITV studios.

After getting herself stuck and unable to re-open the door, Phillip rushed to Holly's rescue, leaving the pair in hysterics at the unfortunate situation.

Being the Snapchat legend that he is, Phillip recorded the whole thing, with Holly later posting the video on her Instagram account. She wrote, 'When @schofe came to my rescue... AGAIN! 🙃🤣😜 ... Why does this stuff happen to me????'. sic

The video shows Holly laughing uncontrollably as she tries to explain to Phillip why she called him to rescue her. Phillip later explains to the camera, "I just got a phone call saying, 'Are you in your room because I can't get out or back in again."

Brilliant! 😂😂😂

Fans of the pair were quick to comment on the funny video, expressing their humour at the situation. One user wrote, 'You two, it's never ending 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂', with another adding, 'Absolutely Brilliant, in stitches.. Xx'. sic

The comments continued to flood in, another fan added, 'This has made my morning!!!' and 'OMG this is the funniest thing!'. sic

Of course, this isn't the first time Holly and Phillip have made their fans laugh, who can forget the time they rocked up to work seriously hungover after the National Television Awards back in 2016.

After celebrating their win at the awards, the popular presenters showed up to the office in their party clothes and confessed they hadn't yet been home.

Meanwhile, as it's the Easter holidays next week, Holly and Phillip will be taking a break from the show and will be replaced by Rylan Clark-Neal and Big Brother host Emma Willis.

After taking some time off from This Morning over the last few months, Rylan delighted his fans when he announced he'd be returning.

Taking to Twitter, the former X Factor star wrote, 'The news is out! Excited to tell you I’ll be hosting @thismorning all next week with the BBig sister @EmmaWillis . ❤️' sic

Rylan and Emma will present This Morning next week.

TUESDAY 3 May

Today Holly has opted for a smart casual look. She's wearing a blue floral ruffle top, black trousers and black heels. What we're loving about this outfit is that you can dress it up with heels like Holly, or keep it casual with trainers. Holly's outfit costs more than £150 but we've found a high street dupe...

What Holly is wearing:
Ditsy floral contrast broderie ruffle blouse, Warehouse, £69.
Clara trousers, Sezane, £95.

THURSDAY 5 May

It's Thursday and for her final look of the week, Holly is wearing a blue and white floral dress. The This Morning presenter looks gorgeous and we're loving this dress. We're not the biggest fan of the £200+ price though, so we've found a high street dupe.
