Former Pop Idol star Gareth Gates has taken to his Instagram account to share a rare photo of his stunning eight-year-old daughter Missy, as he gushed about how 'beautiful' she is.
Posting a snap alongside Missy, Gareth told his fans, 'I rarely share pictures of my daughter. I never like exposing too much of her, I think it should be her choice when she’s a little older. BUT - I had to share this.'
The proud dad went on to say, 'I can’t believe how beautiful she is. I love you Missy moo. You’re my world. #nofilter #daddydaughter'. sic
Fans of the singer were quick to comment on the adorable photo, one user wrote, 'What a beautiful girl. Gorgeous eyes too. 💖', with another adding, 'Oh my word what a stunning photo ♥️xx'. sic

Gareth co-parents his daughter Missy with his ex-wife Suzanne Mole. The pair welcomed Missy in 2009, then split in 2011 following a three-year marriage.
Meanwhile, despite shocking their fans by announcing they'd split up in September 2018, Gareth and Coronation Street actress Faye Brookes had some lovely news at the beginning of 2019, announcing they were engaged!
Revealing their news just four months after their short 'split', the loved-up pair went on to reveal details of how Gareth popped the question, and it will melt your heart.
Speaking to OK! Magazine, Gareth revealed he penned a 17-MINUTE song about their six years together, incorporating things which mean a lot to the couple. He told the publication, “It was all about the six years we’ve spent together and I incorporated bits of songs that mean a lot to us as a couple. I got a bit carried away though – it went on for 17 minutes!”
Faye, who is due to leave Coronation Street after four years of playing Kate Connor, then added, “We were both crying the whole way through. Once it was finished, Gareth got down on one knee and said, ‘Will you spend the rest of your life with me?’ And of course I said yes straight away."
The pair are currently planning their wedding, and they have just recently enjoyed a holiday together. ❤️
