Hits Radio presenter Gemma Atkinson delighted both us and her fans last week, when she confirmed she was pregnant with her and boyfriend, Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka Márquez's first child.

Gemma, who wakes you up during the week on Hits Radio alongside Gethin Jones and Dave Vitty, announced her happy news on Instagram, using her adorable dogs Norman and Olly in the announcement.

And now, as if that wasn't cute enough, Gem has posted another snap with her pooches, this time showing them 'guarding' her growing baby bump.

She wrote, 'Guarding his new pack member... Dogs are just wonderful 😍'. sic

SO CUTE! 😍

It comes after Gemma used her two dogs for her pregnancy announcement last week. Sharing a photo of Norman and Ollie wearing plaques which read, 'Guess what... mums pregnant', and 'We're going to be big brothers', Gem wrote, 'And what Amazing big brothers they will be! Myself & Gorks are beyond excited and happy and feel incredibly blessed to be meeting our new family member later this year. Baby Marquez!!! We love you loads already ❤️🤰 @gorka_marquez'. sic

Fans of the actress were quick to congratulate the couple on their news. One user wrote, 'Congratulations. I can only imagine what a beautiful looking child you will have! 👪👶🍾💗', with another writing, 'This is such great news, congratulations guys, really happy for you both xx'.

A third then added, 'This is lovely. Congrats x'. sic

Gemma and Gorka's first baby is due later in the year! 👶
