Every morning on the Hits Radio Breakfast show with Gemma, Gethin and Dave the team share their latest goings on from the last 24 hours.

Gemma Atkinson is no stranger to revealing insights into her life, she often posts pictures and videos on social media of what she and her hunk of a boyfriend Gorka Marquez get up to in their spare time.

This weekend (12th August) was no exception as Gemma proved she still love a slice of cake and a brew even though she's a health and fitness fanatic.

The pair are all glowing with smiles in the sunshine as Gemma states, "@gorka_marquez I love that you push me hard in the gym and inspire me to better myself when we train. I also love that you’re happy to eat far too much red velvet & cheese cake with me, order a cookie on the side and drink far too much coffee. Thanks for another fab weekend ❤️"

A balanced lifestyle is clearly very important to Gemma Atkinson who shared with co-host Gethin Jones on the Hits Radio Breakfast Show, that she trained for 30 minutes on the stair master at 4am before setting off to the Hits Radio studio for the mornings broadcast.

Turns out Gemma had enjoyed more sweet treats as she tucked into biscuits and crisps while watching Great Britain run to victory in the women's 4x100m relay final in Berlin.

Always inspiring us with her dedication and discipline, Gemma Atkinson has some wise words to start the week, sharing a photo of her working up a sweat in the gym, Gem commented, "Your body will be around a lot longer than that expensive handbag. Invest in yourself, you are worth it!! #mondaymotivation"

That's got us fired up to hit the gym after work! At least we know we can still have a slice of cake when we get home.
