They've already denied that they plan to get married in 2019, but tongues started to wag once again when Love Island 2018 winner Jack Fincham was spotted in a jewellery shop earlier this week, with fans thinking he could be about to pop the question to Dani Dyer.

After winning the popular dating show last month, Jack and Dani have been inseparable, meeting each other's family and friends and spending some time in the real world. With fans hoping for a quick fire engagement, Jack has now cleared things up during an appearance on Good Morning Britain.

Starring on the show without Dani, Jack revealed he has bought his new girlfriend a very special present for her birthday tomorrow (8th August). Speaking on the show, Jack said, “I’ve got her something nice. What are you trying to say! She’s going to love it. It’s something that she’s mentioned before and I’m going to give it to her, a big presentation. I need someone to wrap it as I’m rubbish at wrapping, I can’t wrap presents, maybe I can get my mum can do it.”

When the pen salesman was quizzed as to whether it was an engagement ring, he replied, “Not yet.”

Despite meeting Dani's friends over the past two weeks, Jack is yet to come face-to-face with Dani's mum and dad, Joanne Mas and Danny Dyer.

The Dyer family have been out in America enjoying a holiday, but Jack did reveal they are back now, and a meeting is on the cards. Speaking on Good Morning Britain, Jack said, “It’s Dani’s birthday tomorrow. We are going out to have something to eat. They’ve been on holiday. I’m really looking forward to it."

We can't wait to see the photos! 🤣

In other Love Island news, show host Caroline Flack revealed that a massive 25,000 people have already applied for the 2019 series, despite this year's show just coming to an end.
