Just as we are getting over the news that Beyoncé and Jay-Z have welcomed their twins in to the world, Jay-Z has gone and dropped a major bombshell on his new album '4:44'.

The rapper, who has been dating Beyoncé since 2002, released his 13th studio album today and he's caused a total frenzy amongst fans of the pair.

Let's rewind back to 2016 when Beyoncé shocked the world by dropping her 'Lemonade' album out of absolutely nowhere.

Well with this album came a major revelation that her hubby Jay-Z had been unfaithful towards her, this was all speculated from the reference of 'Becky with the good hair'.

A year and two babies later, Jay-Z has responded and seemingly admitted his mistake and apologised to his wife on his new album. He says, ‘Leave me alone, Becky. A man that don’t take care his family can’t be rich.’

On the album title track, Jay-Z also raps ‘If my children knew, I don’t even know what I would do. If they ain’t look at me the same, I would prolly die with all the shame. You did what with who? What good is a ménage à trois when you have a soulmate, you risked that for Blue?’.sic

Other lyrics include: 'I apologise, often womanise, took my child to be born, see through a woman's eyes. Took for these natural twins to believe in miracles. Took me too long for this song. I don't deserve you.' sic

Ooo, drama! 👀

As if this wasn't enough, new daddy Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, also referenced that awkward lift moment involving Beyoncé's sister Solange.

On the track ‘Kill Jay-Z’ the lyrics read, ‘You egg Solange on knowing all along all you had to say was you was wrong.’

Putting all of this drama aside, the couple welcomed their new twins earlier in the month. Despite the couple yet to officially confirm the news, Beyoncé's dad let the news slip on Twitter.

Sharing a picture with the words, 'Happy Birthday to the twins! Love Granddad', Matthew Knowles excitedly wrote, 'They're here!'

Beyoncé broke her silence for the first time since giving birth to the twins via a statement which was read out at the BET Awards, as she won BET Viewer’s Choice.

It read: “Thank you, BET, for this award and your tremendous support of Lemonade,” the statement read. “This has been a journey of love, of celebrating our culture, honoring the past, and approaching the present and future with hope and resolve. . . . Thank you to my mother, Tina Knowles-Lawson, for being my biggest, biggest teacher and consistent influence. Thank you to my entire family for so much love. To my team at Parkwood Entertainment, thank you. And thanks to all the fans, my Beyhive, for riding with me. I love and appreciate you. And to everyone at the show tonight, you all look so beautiful. And at home, thank you, and have a wonderful, wonderful night. From, Beyoncé." sic

Rumours have since been flying around that the couple have settled on names for the twins. Sources close to the couple have told MediaTakeOut that they have called the boy Shawn Jr. after his dad’s real name Shawn Carter and the girl Bea, after her mum’s nickname.

However the couple are yet to confirm any names for their new arrivals.
