Jordin Sparks reveals four of her loved ones have died in the last week
Including her step-sister Bryanna
Former American Idol winner Jordin Sparks has revealed the devastating news to fans that she's lost four of her loved ones in the past week, including her step-sister Bryanna.
Taking to her Instagram page, the 'Tattoo' singer revealed her 16-year-old step-sister sadly passed away to sickle cell anaemia.
The pregnant star also revealed she's lost her cousin Q, and her two friends Leah LaBelle and her husband Rasual Butler, who were tragically killed in a car crash earlier this week.
Posting photos of all four of her loved ones, Jordin accompanied the snaps with an emotional message which read, 'Four Angels in a week. My heart is just so heavy & broken. I'm in shock, numb and feel everything all at the same time. Leah & Rasual (one of my closest friends and her amazing other half who also was a great friend), Bryanna (my step sister) and Q (my little cousin), you were such bright lights in this crazy world.'
She then added, 'You made everyone better just by knowing them. And your smiles made anyone's day better. The world is less sparkly without you in it. Rest In Peace and Power. I love you forever. Find Miles and hug him for me. ♥️ Tomorrow is not promised to any of us. Don't ever skip a chance to tell someone you appreciate them or how much you love them. Please, please continue to cover their families and our family with thoughts and prayers. #unicornsdontdie #sicklecellsux'. sic
After announcing the devastating news, fans of the singer were quick to send their messages of condolence.
One user wrote, 'I'm so sorry for you're loss praying for you and you're family 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🌹🌹🌹', with another adding, 'My sincere and deepest condolences on your precious loss Jordin. May the Lord give you strength in your time of need.' sic
Another then wrote, 'I'm so sorry for your loss. The death of Rasual and Leah were very tragic. You cousin and step sister were too young. Prayers for your family!' sic
In happier news for Jordin, the singer is expecting her first child with her husband Dana Isaiah later this year.
The couple, who have been married for six months, announced they were expecting their first child together during a gender reveal party on Thanksgiving last year.
Posting a photo of the couple holding blue ribbon, Jordin wrote, 'IT'S A BOY!!! We have so much to be thankful for and this is definitely at the top of the list! @_danaisaiah's gonna have a little mini me running around! We can't wait to meet him. We love you lil man! 💙💙💙💙' sic
