Junior Andre, the son of Peter Andre and Katie Price, is set to be following in his father's footsteps as he signs his first record deal at just 16-years-old!

The young artist said signing with Columbia Records was a 'dream come true' and the label have said that Junior has an 'immense natural talent'.

Junior took to Instagram to announce the big news: 'Wow.. where do I start. These past 6 months have been hectic. But I’ve loved every single second of it. My dad took me to the studio 6 months ago and got me in the booth at @rebelrecs

'Since then I have secretly been working on a MASSIVE project, and not long ago got a call saying @columbiauk want to sign me! I would just like to say thank you to the team @rebelrecs alongside my dad who have helped develop me into an artist.

'And ofcourse a big shoutout to @sktartist and @marcellonoego Who are very talented and have been working with me on this project since the start. also not forgetting my mum who is always supportive of me. And ofcourse my family and friends.I love everyone who supports me and I am very excited to go on this journey with you all. NEW MUSIC COMING SOON!!' (sic)

His father commented on the post saying: 'I am beyond proud. Wait till you see what pic I post later 😂'(sic). The post he later put on his own Instagram was a throwback image of himself on the cover of Smash Hits Now magazine - since Peter also signed his first deal at the age of 16 following his success on the Australian talent show, New Faces.

Peter went on to have a successful music career with hits such as 'Mysterious Girl' and 'Flava' as well as appearing on plenty of our favourite reality shows including I'm a Celebrity and Strictly Come Dancing. We can't wait to see what Junior's career has in store for him!
