Just a week after she enjoyed her first public outing since announcing her pregnancy, Kensington Palace have officially confirmed the Duchess of Cambridge's due date is in April 2018.

Sharing the news via the official Kensington Palace Twitter page, the message read, 'The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted to confirm they are expecting a baby in April 2018.'

Just hours before the announcement, the public were made aware that Prince William and Kate Middleton will be undertaking an official visit to both Sweden and Norway in the early months of 2018, just a few months before her official due date for baby number three.

Fans of the Royal couple were left delighted back in September when it was confirmed they are expecting their third baby together.

The official statement revealed how the 'Queen and members of both families are delighted with the news'.

It also detailed how The Duchess was suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe vomiting) as with her previous pregnancies.

The Royal couple already have two children together, four-year-old Prince George who was born on the 22nd July 2013 and two-year-old Princess Charlotte who was born on 2nd May 2015.

Kate, alongside Prince William and Prince Harry, met the cast and crew from the movie Paddington 2 yesterday, with pregnant Kate even enjoying a little dance with the bear.

Back in September, Kate and Prince William's first born child started school for the first time.

Prince George was photographed arriving at an independent school in Battersea, South London, where fees cost from £17,604 a year.
